Chatham-Kent has been named a finalist for this year’s Kraft Hockeyville contest.
This means C-K will receive $100,000 in upgrades for Chatham Memorial Arena.
North Saanich, British Columbia is the other finalist in the competition.
The winner between the two communities will have the opportunity to host an NHL pre-season game at their arena.
The announcement was made LIVE on Hockey Night in Canada this evening, by host George Stroumboulopoulos:
