Twice the legal limit in Dresden

The Chatham-Kent police arrested a man for impaired driving in Dresden last night.

Police officials said on April 5, 2015 at 9 p.m. at citizen reported to police about an erratic driver in Dresden.

Officers located and stopped the suspect’s vehicle on Baseline near Huff Side Road just east of Dresden.

Through investigation, the officer believed that the man was operating his car while under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested.

The man was transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.

A 27-year-old Dresden man has been charged with having a blood concentration twice the legal limit.

He has been released with conditions pending a future court date.
