Driver ejected after a crash in Lambton County

On April 9, 2015 at about 3:45 a.m. members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the west bound lanes of the 402 Highway at Oil Heritage Road, Plympton- Wyoming to investigate a motor vehicle collision.

Investigation revealed that a 38 year old male from Flint Michigan had been operating a compact motor vehicle that had collided with a guard rail and a tractor trailer. As a result of this collision the Michigan male was ejected from his motor vehicle and into the median.

The male was transported to Hospital in order to receive medical treatment. The maleā€™s injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

The 402 Highway was closed for about 4.5 hours while OPP members from the Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Bureau investigated. The investigation is ongoing. The west bound lanes of the 402 Highway are now open.
