Michael Brian Lashmore of Wallaceburg

Brian-Lashmore-1428507789Michael BRIAN Lashmore, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away peacefully with his loving family & his much loved family, on a spring day, Monday, March 30, 2015 at the age of 67.

Brian is the son of the late Frederick GEORGE & June Ruth (Thorpe) Lashmore. Beloved wife of Janet Lynn Lashmore (Rothery). Loving father of Julie Cook (Darrel) and Michael “Mick” Lashmore and grandfather of Mitchell, Jacob & Jessi, special godson of Wade Kenneth Gurd. Dear brother of Shelley Wardell (Lorne), Vicki Walling (Britt) and the late Barry Wayne Lashmore (1949) and loved brother-in-law of Janice Gurd (Bob) and Jim Rothery (Deb). Nephew to Shirley McPhail (Lashmore) and Wayne McPhail. Companion of Poeye & Kahlua (2012), the faithful family pets. Brian will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews who all enjoyed the guidance, company & love of their Uncle Brian & returned it in equal measure. He was known to many as Uncle Brian & to some as just Uncle Shawn. (Thanks for the many special visits), Anne Marie, Jay, Troy, Trevor, Tara, Jennifer, Stephanie, Rob, Kristin & Jay with all fond memories. Brian started out at the Dominion Glass Factory in Wallaceburg in the shipping & receiving department, then became a Real Estate Agent and CRA (Real Estate Appraiser) for many years, having worked for Shepley Real Estate and Howes/Homes Realty.

The family will have a private gathering and celebration of Brian’s life at Sunny Beach Erieau this summer. HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with funeral arrangements. If desired, remembrances to Wallaceburg Minor Lacrosse may be left at the funeral home or donations to the Community Meal Programme at St. James Anglican Church in Wallaceburg may be left at the funeral home 519.627.3231
