Home invasion suspect still being sought

The Sarnia Police Service continues to investigating a home invasion incident in the 1800 block of Blackwell Road, Sarnia, which occurred on January 11, 2015, shortly before 8:00 PM.

The white male suspect, approximately 5’8”, medium build, wearing a hoodie under a dark coat, attended the victim’s residence. The victim, a male, was alone in the house at the time of the attack.

The suspect entered the house when the front door was opened by the victim. Once inside the house the suspect pulled a baseball bat from his coat and began assaulting the victim.

The victim was eventually able to disarm and force the suspect from the house.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered a broken nose and sustained cuts, bruises and swelling on other parts of his body. The suspect may have been injured in the incident also.
