The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman following a shoplifting complaint in Chatham.
Around 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon, the woman entered Walmart and concealed a fragrance bottle in her purse. She exited the store making no attempt to pay for the merchandise valued at $35.00.
A 49-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with theft under $5000 and possession of property obtained by a crime under $5000.
She was released pending a future court date of May 28, 2015.
