The Wallaceburg Tartans dropped their home opener on Thursday afternoon to the first-place UCC Lancers.
The final score was 27-0.
The Tartans record fell to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers improved to 3-0.
Brendan Marr led the Tartans with 67 yards on the ground on 14 carries, while Patrick Ezewski gained 58 yards on eight carries.
On the defensive side of the ball, Marr led Wallaceburg as well with eight tackles.
Brandon Fraleigh and Keith Bogaert both made six tackles in the loss.
Wallaceburg will head to McGregor next Friday (May 8) to face the Panthers.
