KONECNY: James age 92 of Chatham formerly of Dresden passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham.
Jim worked at National Hardware and was a member of the Canadian Legion Br. 113, Dresden. Surviving are: his wife Elaine Corrine (Bulley) Konecny, a daughter Geraldine Saunders (Paul), sons: Martin Konecny (Stephanie), Jim Konecny (Maryellen), two step-daughters: Michelle Kosik (John), Nicole Kerr (Bradley), 5 grandchildren & 3 step-grandchildren. He is predeceased by sister Stella Kominek (Joe), brother Frank Konecny (Frances) also 2 brothers & 5 sisters in Europe.
Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home, 620 Cross Street, Dresden on Tuesday 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Michael’s Church, Dresden on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Ray Lawhead as celebrant. Cremation will follow.
