The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.
On July 10, 2014 around 2:15 a.m. an officer on general patrol observed the man acting suspiciously in the area of McNaughton Avenue and Reaume Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, the man was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, however he fled on foot before being taken into custody.
Attempts were made to locate the man, however when unsuccessful, a warrant for drug possession was issued.
Yesterday morning, officers located the man in Wallaceburg and he was arrested following a short foot chase.
The 23-year-old Walpole Island man was transported to the court house pending a bail hearing.

Why are you not allowed to print the arrested person’s name? If the individual is over 18 there is no restrictions due to being a minor so why is that information still withheld?
