A local business stepped up not once, but twice recently for the Wallaceburg fireworks.
S&J’s Pizza donated a part of the proceeds from large pizzas ordered on May 20th.
They turned around and held an Indian taco night a couple weeks later, where a part of the proceeds were gathered for the Canada Day event as well.
When it was all said and done, $500 was raised.
On Monday, Jeff Belanger, owner of S&J’s Pizza, met with Nick Cadotte, a member of the Wallaceburg Fireworks committee, to hand over the cheque.
