Robert George “Bob” Leach, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at the Chatham hospital on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at the age of 81.
Bob is the son of the late Frederick Powell & Esther Gertrude (Truax) Leach. Loving father of Lisa Laflamme, Geoffrey Leach and Richard Leach. Dear grandfather of Molly, Emma, Grace, Rachel, Jean-Guy and Nicole and great grandfather of Colby. Brother of Annemarie Butzer (Doug) and Nancy Maynard (late Douglas).
Bob is the former owner of Leach Jewelers, was a member of the Wallaceburg Kiltie Band, the Bob Jack’s Band, Wallaceburg & District Chamber of Commerce and was a Past President of the Wallaceburg Kinsmen and Charter Member & Past Master of Pnyx Baldoon Lodge #312.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Thursday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday, July 31 at 11 AM. There will be visiting in the hour prior. Interment in Riverview Cemetery. If desired, remembrances to the Hemophilia Society or the C-K Cancer Society Driver Support Program may be left at the funeral home. 519.627.3231.
