Police searching for suspicious, naked man

The Chatham-Kent police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious man.

On August 16 around 3:00 p.m. police responded to the area of the Black Bridge north of Stanley Avenue in Chatham in regards to a naked man.

The man approached a woman walking along the tracks and asked her to come with him.

The woman did not follow the man and ran to the nearest home to report the incident.

The woman last saw the man riding a red older style mountain bike southbound along the tracks towards Murray Street wearing a blue button down shirt and khaki shorts.

He is described as a white man, approximately 40-50 years, thin build, and clean shaven with short wavy greyish/white hair with a balding ‘W’ pattern.
