OSPCA – Friends For Life Walk!

imgres-9The Ontario SPCA Kent County Branch Friends For Life Walk is just one week away! The walk will be taking place Saturday, September 19th at Chatham’s Mud Creek Park. Registration begins at 9am behind John McGregor Secondary School on Cecile Avenue. This is the single largest fundraiser for the Ontario SPCA, with all proceeds benefitting abused, neglected, and abandoned animals Chatham-Kent.

Meet The Spokesdogs!
At just six weeks old, Shuko, Takha, Betty, Blaizz, and Marley were brought to the Ontario SPCA Kent County Branch as part of an unwanted litter. The Shepherd-mix puppies were cared for in a foster home until they were old enough to be adopted.
Once back at the shelter, the pups were featured at an adoption event at Chatham’s PetSmart store and over the course of a single weekend, all five found a loving homes. Shuko and Takha were even adopted together!
This past spring, the dogs enjoyed a family reunion and are thrilled to represent the Ontario SPCA Kent County Branch at the Friends For Life Walk on September 19th!

Fun For The Whole Family!
This is the 30th anniversary of the Ontario SPCA walk in Chatham-Kent.
