The Wallaceburg Lakers are still looking for their first win, after suffering a 5-1 loss to Alvinston at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena on Wednesday.
Brendan Ritchie put the Lakers on the board in the first period, with help from Derrek Finlay.
Wallaceburg carried the one-goal lead into the second period, but it was all Alvinston from there.
Flyers goalie Cam MacAlpine was credited with a goal at the 18:30 mark of the third period, after a the Lakers shot the puck in their own net.
MacAlpine also picked up an assist in the period.
With the loss, Wallaceburg’s record falls to 0-5-0 in the Great Lakes Junior ‘C’ Hockey League.
Wallaceburg will head to Blenheim on Sunday to take on the Blades.
