The Noelle’s Gift foundation is once again donating a total of $45,000 to the St. Clair Catholic and Lambton Kent district school boards to support students and families in need.

“We are indeed blessed and deeply grateful to receive this tremendous donation of funds to support our students and their families,” says Dan Parr, Director of Education with the St. Clair Catholic District School Board. “Through its caring and continuous support of children in need, the foundation has truly found a fitting way to honour the life and work of Noelle Paquette.”

“Principals continue to share stories of the difference Noelle’s Gift has made to so many of our students and how grateful and touched parents are to receive this support,” says Jim Costello, Director of Education for the Lambton Kent District School Board. “The Lambton Kent District School Board accepts this donation on behalf of all the children in our school community and thanks the Foundation for this gift.”

The $45,000 donation from the Noelle’s Gift charitable fund is shared among the two school boards, to support students who are in need. Funds are used to purchase eyeglasses, clothing, food, medicine and medical equipment – anything that is needed to help children and families in crisis.

The funds from Noelle’s Gift are dispersed independently through the two school boards.

Principals make application whenever a child is in need. Requests for funds are processed quickly, to get help to families as soon as possible.

The Noelle’s Gift charitable fund was established in memory of Noelle Paquette, a former Kindergarten teacher with St. Clair Catholic, who passed away in January 2013.
