‘Stupid act’ of vandalism at CKHA heli-pad

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers are looking for information to solve their crime of the week.

Crime Stoppers officials say during the early morning hours of Sunday October 11, several unknown suspects damaged 14 of the heli-pad lamps located at The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.

The suspects fled west from the area along Emma Street and out onto Lacroix Street.

The cost of the mischief is $2,800, “however; this is minor compared to the problems that it created. The potential for risk to patient’s lives by delaying emergency care is a serious issue. Crime Stoppers is seeking information regarding the identity of the persons responsible for this very stupid act,” Crime Stoppers officials stated.
