The Chatham-Kent Police Service was out in full force this past holiday weekend as part of Operation Impact.
As a result, officers conducted three RIDE spot checks through the Municipality and a total of 114 tickets were issued for various offences.
Speed continues to be an issue here in Chatham-Kent as 81 drivers were charged with speed related offences.
Six motorists were charged with either disobeying a street sign or light.
Three people were each charged with careless driving, making a turn not in safety and following too closely.
Two people were charged with distracted driving and one person was charged with failing to wear their seatbelt.
