Two transports crash on 402

On Tuesday October 20th, 2015 at approximately 6:00 a.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was dispatched to a two vehicle, commercial motor vehicle collision in the area of 402 Highway westbound and 40 Highway, City of Sarnia.

Lambton County OPP along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Sarnia Fire Department are currently at the scene of a two vehicle, commercial motor vehicle collision at the off ramp for 402 Highway westbound to 40 Highway, City of Sarnia.

Two occupants involved in the collision have been transported to by EMS to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Ramps to 40 Highway for both north and south bound traffic are expected to be closed for approximately 3-4 hours and 402 Highway westbound will be reduced to one lane in this area while the commercial motor vehicles are removed and the highways cleared of debris.

This investigation is on-going and charges are pending.

The general public are asked to try to avoid the area at this time for the safety of emergency responders that are on scene.
