This CK Animal Rescue’s 4th Annual walk purpose is to raise awareness for the pets who are also victims of domestic violence.
They need a voice to help provide a temporary safe haven for these innocent animals while their pet guardians are relocating. CK Animal Rescue’s volunteers in Chatham Kent and surrounding areas, are there to provide the peace of mind for those needing another option to keep their pets safe.
CK Animal Rescue wants to help eliminate the worry and concern of leaving dogs, cats or other pets behind when needing to leave a violent situation. They have approved foster families who have stepped forward to offer their homes to care for those pets in need.
They also have helped local residents who are being hospitalized to provide temporary care for their pets. Average time in foster care is 4-6 weeks.
CK Animal Rescue welcomes anyone who is interested in joining our cause to help them in their mission.
