Logo contest for Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre

The Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre has been operating in town for over 40 years and is located on the banks of the Sydenham River at 205 James Street. We provide a range of services for citizens 45 years of age and older. We are a very active Club with more than 700 members engaging in social, recreational and health promotion activities.

The club is in need of a logo that can assist in updating their “brand.” The logo will be used as a feature in all communication to their members and with external stakeholders. It will be included on their monthly calendar, their letterhead and where appropriate, to the media when they are promoting what they do to the community.

Contest guidelines:

1. Any inquiries about the contest should be directed to Cheryl Burrage at 519-627-6224.

2. All entries must be submitted in electronic format by Sunday, January 31st, 2016.

3. Entries should be forwarded electronically to srcentre@kent.net.

4. All entries must include name, and contact information including telephone number.

5. Applicants of all ages are welcome to submit a design.

6. All entries will be judged by a panel of five members of the Wallaceburg Adult Activity Centre.

7. Judging will occur the week of February 1st and all applicants will be informed by February 15th, 2016.

8. All entries will be acknowledged in writing.

9. The winner of the contest will be awarded a $50 cash prize.

10. The winner will agree to have his/her picture provided to the media in way of recognition.
