Lakers top Amherstburg for second straight win

The streak is at two for the Wallaceburg Lakers, after topping the Amherstburg Admirals on Wednesday 5-2 on home ice.

Lakers goalie George Hill was outstanding for Wallaceburg, making a whopping 51 saves for the win. Amherstburg outshot Wallaceburg 53-39.

Justin Lindsay led the offence for Wallaceburg with two goals, while Cory Lucier, Justin Browning and George Wood also scored.

The Lakers improved their record to 2-12-0 after their second straight victory.

They’ll be back in action on Friday night when they head to Alvinston.
