The Chatham-Kent Fire Department is at the intersection of Wellington Street and Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, as a street light has fallen and smashed on the road.
PUC officials and Chatham-Kent Police are at the scene as well.
The call came in around 9:20 a.m.
Sources say Entegrus officials are enroute.
The road is being blocked off.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the day and are calling for high winds.
