A Charlie Brown Christmas hits the stage December 3 in the WDSS cafeteria.
Over 20 students from all grades are involved with one of everyone’s favourite Christmas story.
Nicki Lane, the drama teacher at WDSS, and the producer behind the play, told the Sydenham Current about how excited the students are.
“The students have been working since September and are very excited for their performance,” Lane said.
The production follows the same classic story everyone knows and loves, but with a few twists to spice things up. This performance is great for ages and will defiantly be a lot of fun.
Nicki Lane, who has been involved in numerous theatrical productions through her 9 years at WDSS, spoke The Sydenham Current about the casts hard work and dedication.
“They have been working tirelessly since September. They rehearse twice a week for two hours, not to mention the countless hours spent memorizing their lines on their own time,” spoke Nicki.
Some of the cast playing these timeless characters include Julia Lester as Snoopy, Alex Gough as Charlie Brown, Amanda McCaughrin as Sally, and Bridget Peters as Lucy, just to name a few.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for the Dec. 3 performance, which will begin at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
Donations of canned goods will be taken for the Wallaceburg Salvation Army.
With a canned good, the $5 ticket price will be reduced to $3.
