The Wallaceburg Red Devils will have a familiar face behind the bench next season.
Former Red Devils star Justin Durston has signed on to become the team’s next head coach.
“Well, I stepped up and I’m doing what I was born to do,” Durston wrote on social media. “Lots of work ahead to achieve our ultimate goal.”
Durston replaces Nick Trudeau, who was the head coach last season. Durston had served as an assistant last season and has served as the team’s head coach in the past.
“We look forward to having Justin returning to behind the bench and leading the 2016 team,” Red Devils officials posted on their website.
Wallaceburg finished with a 9-10-1 record last season.
