The Lord took home his faithful servant, loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather Hank Veenema in his 84th year.
He will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Wilma (DeJonge) Veenema and his children John & Wanda Veenema, Teresa and Pete Bergsma, Shirley and Wayne Faas, Brian and Ruati Veenema, Sandra and Andy VanderVeen, Dennis Veenema. His 20 grandchildren will miss the “bear in the woods,” the “boogie man” and the “big bang”. There are also 28 great grandchildren.
Hank was a man of many talents with a strong faith in God, a strong work ethic and a deep and abiding love for his wife.
Visitation will be at Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church, 483 McNaughton Ave. E., Chatham on Friday 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the church on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. David deBoer officiating. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
In lieu of flowers, Hank would have appreciated donations by cheque to Middle East Reformed Fellowship or Ebenezer Christian School.
