On Saturday, December 19, at approximately 10:00pm, police were dispatched to an area on Pain Court Line, in response to a roll over, single motor vehicle collision.
The driver, 34 year old Chatham man, was transported to Chatham-Kent Health Alliance–PGH Campus, for observations.
Through investigation, the officer reached the grounds to believe the driver’s ability to operate his motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Breath tests were administered and the driver was charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle as well as well as Over 80.
The man was later released from custody with a future court date to answer to the charges.
