While the rest of Ontario is under a winter storm watch, a special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex.
Freezing rain or ice pellets are expected on Monday afternoon, December 28.
A period of freezing rain or ice pellets is expected to develop Monday afternoon then change to rain Monday in the late afternoon.
Strong easterly winds gusting to 80 km/h are forecast for early Monday evening.
Roads may be slippery Monday afternoon.
