Crime Stoppers enjoys successful 2015

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say they enjoyed a very successful and productive 2015.

Through the combined efforts of tipsters, the media, police agencies and the hard work of our Board members many incidents were successfully investigated and solved.

2015 Statistics:

– Calls Received: 680

– Arrests: 139

– Charges Laid: 777

– Cases Cleared: 209

– Property Recovered: $104,750

– Drugs Seized: $2,776,153

– Total Drugs and Property: $2,880,903

Statistics from inception 1987

– Calls Received: 24,538

– Arrests: 6,088

– Charges Laid: 15,179

– Cases Cleared: 10,406

– Property Recovered: $9,827,609

– Drugs Seized: $87,798,311

– Total Drugs and Property: $97,625,920
