Dresden’s TJ Brodie is putting together an impressive campaign this season, despite missing the first part of the year due to injury.

Brodie had 24 points (4 goals, 20 assists) for the Calgary Flames, who are struggling with a 21-23-3 record this year, 12th in the Western Conference.

Sportsnet Canada has featured the 25-year-old Dresden Minor Hockey product in a new video for their “Hometown Hockey” series.

“If he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs or the Montreal Canadiens, he’d be front page news, he’d be on the cover of magazines,” Brian Burke, the Flames’ president of hockey operations, says in the video.

“I think the most underrated hockey player in the National Hockey League is TJ Brodie.”
