Wilma Alberta Reid, a resident of Wallaceburg, died at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the age of 79.
Wilma is the daughter of the late William and Velma Baker. Beloved wife of Neil. Loving mother of Christine Bernard and husband Mark. Cherished grandmother of Sarah and Trent. Dear sister-in-law of Jean Lye, Elizabeth Deakin (Dick) and the late George and Lena Reid. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.
Wilma will be greatly missed for her smile, laughter, and loving nature. She loved the Sydenham Residence in Wallaceburg, especially playing bingo and shuffleboard, as well as her euchre group. She never passed up an opportunity to get out for a car ride, or to have coffee or a meal with friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 1 p.m. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.
