The Wallaceburg Splash Pad received a $1,000 donation from Carolyn and Dick Bulsink of Stekelbos Watch and Battery Repairs in Wallaceburg.
The donation is a result of a watch battery promotion the Bulsink’s ran in-store at their Dufferin Ave Location.
Karen Kennedy a Wallaceburg Splash Pad Committee member was on hand to receive the donation.
“The enthusiasm in Wallaceburg and area for this project is just overwhelming,” Kennedy said.
“Everyone is doing what they can to see this project happen in our town. And this donation represents a Wallaceburg business doing what they do best and helping out their own community.”
