Dresden eliminated by Blenheim

The Blades were the first team to win a road game in their opening round playoff series against the Kings, and the Game 6 road win on Friday night clinched the series for the Blenheim squad.

After skating to a 2-2 tie after the first period, Blenheim scored once more in the second and once in the third period to clinch the 4-2 win, and the 4-2 series win as well.

Dillon Liberty and Steven Funk scored the goals for Dresden.

Travis Moore made 27 saves in the loss.

It was a packed house on Friday night at Dresden Arena, as 925 people filled the seats and standing room only areas of the arena.
