IRWIN: Audrey Emelia age 84 of Park Street Place, Dresden passed away Friday February 19, 2016 at CKHA Sydenham Campus.
She was born in Camden Twp. daughter of the late Byron & Reta (Pengelly) Lindsay. Audrey was a member of the Dresden Community Church and worked faithfully with the women of the church providing meals for various functions.
Surviving are two daughters Arlene VanDerMeersch and Linda Whitson, daughter-in-law Patti Irwin, grandchildren: Jenny VanDerMeersch & Albert Pegg, Matt & Agata VanDerMeersch and children Ava & Jacob, Nicholas Irwin, Bradley & Kristie Irwin and children Charly & Caden Crawford and Leah & Lacey, Michael & Amanda Irwin and children Ivy & Olivia; sister Doris & Richard Hasson, brother Harold Lindsay. Two nieces and one nephew also survive. Audrey is predeceased by her husband Roy Irwin (1997), son Robert Irwin (2012), son-in-law Paul VanDerMeersch (2014), grandson Mitchell Whitson (2006), great grandson Hunter Irwin (2011), her parents Byron (1978) & Reta (1996) Lindsay, brother Charles Lindsay (1982), brother-in-law Howard (2014) & sister-in-law Elda (2013) Irwin.
Visitors will be received at the Thomas L. DeBurger Funeral Home 620 Cross St. Dresden on Sunday 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Dresden Community Church, 21 Highway, Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Linda McFadden officiating.
