For the first time since 2008, a Wallaceburg team is heading to the OMHA finals.
The Minor Midget Lakers won Game 3 on Saturday night 4-1, completing the sweep against the Lincoln Blades in the OMHA semi-finals.
Scoring for Wallaceburg in front of a packed Wallaceburg Memorial Arena crowd, was Cullen Bowles, Stone Jacobs, Tanner Cole and Elijah Contreras.
Ethan Cadotte had a stellar game between the pipes for the Lakers.
The Lakers will now compete against the winner from the semi-final series currently underway between Collingwood and Erin-Hillsburgh.
The team wants to thank everyone that came out to cheer them on, the fan/community support was very much appreciated.
