A resident of Walpole Island, died at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at the age of 60.
Leona is the daughter of Earl Pinnance and Evangeline Johnson. Beloved wife of Cecil Isaac Jr.. Loving mother of Georgina S. Shipman (Howard Jr.), Delano Altiman (Irene) and Janet Altiman (Jon). Cherished grandmother of Portia, Howard, Dorothy, Hunter, Styles, Ashton, Cole, Jovi, Skyler, Janeva, Miley, Savanah, Tyson and Grayson. Dear sister of Lori John, Wayne Fisher, Garnet Dodge, Jeff Thomas, Ava Hammock, Linda Thomas, Ellen Thomas, Eric Thomas, and the late Louis Johnson, Josephine Fisher, and Jerome Thomas.
The family will receive relatives and friends at her home at 594A Creek Rd. S., Walpole Island on Thursday evening and Friday. Funeral Service at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 11 AM.
