Sandra Diane Slaney, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at Fairfield Park on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the age of 70.
Sandra is the daughter of the late Walter George and Violet Rose (Hart) LeCras. Beloved wife of Jack. Loving mother of Sean (Melinda) of Wallaceburg and Allison of Ottawa. Dear grandmother of Joshua, Hailee and Kerrigan Slaney and Cole Mugridge. Great grandmother of Blake. Sister of Judy LeCras and the late Ted LeCras (Lorrie).
Sandra enjoyed golf, bowling, bridge and her church, St. James Anglican. She was the first lady of the local ballroom dance club and had danced professionally at the Canadian Nation Exhibition (CNE) in her youth.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Tuesday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 30 at 11 AM. Cremation to follow.
