Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Chatham-Kent.
A line of thunderstorms and heavy showers continue to move eastward through the region this evening.
There may be small hail with some of these storms and southwesterly wind gusts up to 80 kilometers per hour.
Local rainfall amounts up to 20 millimetres are possible.
