The Sarnia Police Service are continuing their relentless investigation into the death of Jonathan Patrick Pike.
Police officials said in the early morning hours of March 25, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a call for assistance in a wooded area off of Tashmoo Avenue.
Subsequent to a search of the area, police located a deceased male who was later identified as Pike.
“Currently members of the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigation Branch continue in their relentless investigation into this death,” police officials stated.
“This investigation has become a priority for the Sarnia Police Service and we wish to advise the public that we are using all resources available to bring this matter to justice.”
The Sarnia Police have seized a vehicle that was believed to be related to the homicide.
The vehicle was involved in a pursuit with Lambton OPP in the early morning hours of March 27.
The two occupants were charged in relation to the pursuit for flight from the police.
The Sarnia Police Service continues with their investigation into the motor vehicle and is pursuing all avenues of information and evidence.
