Chatham Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) is pleased to announce a new Physician to the community. Dr. Javaria Sohaib recently made the move to Chatham-Kent and has joined CKHA in the role of Respirologist.
Dr. Sohaib completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. She did her post-graduate fellowship in Respirology at the University of Calgary and completed in 2015.
“I’ve always desired to practice in a location that allowed me the opportunity to truly contribute to the health and wellbeing of my community members, and Chatham-Kent seemed like the perfect place. My husband and I have a young family and when we visited the area, we found the community to be very welcoming and a great place to raise a family. The hospital provides exceptional service and is a good fit for the patient care I will be providing. I am very excited for this opportunity and look forward to serving my patients,” said Dr. Javaria Sohaib.
