A Chatham-Kent police officer, who is facing discreditable conduct charges, will have his Police Services Act trial continued in August.
Const. Ken Miller is also facing sexual assault and breach of trust charges as well, as a result of a SIU investigation.
Chatham-Kent police officials said on Monday, June 6 at 8:30 a.m. the continuation of a Police Services Act trial took place via conference call.
Miller is presently charged with Discreditable Conduct under the Police Service Act Code of Conduct.
The matter was adjourned to Thursday, August 4, at 8:30 a.m., when once again a conference call will take place in regards to this matter.
During this time period ongoing discussions and disclosures will take place between all of the involved parties.
No further information will be released during this time unless circumstances change.
