Hindmarsh, Ruth Anne Victoria (Benn), (August 24, 1954 – June 30, 2016) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour and join her parents David James Benn Jr. (1910-1974) and Dorothy Vonetta (McLean) (1914-2006).
She will be dearly missed by her husband Philip Michael Hindmarsh of 41 years, daughter Laura Michelle Hindmarsh (Nick Smith) and siblings Beckie Vyvey (Rob), Marilyn Anderson (Dave), Gerry Benn (Liz). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Both Ruth and Mike enjoyed travelling together: Australia/New Zealand, Europe, Caribbean and Alaskan Cruises and especially across Canada with Peggy’s Cove a favourite. Ruth was an avid photographer and enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, cross stitching and bargain hunting. She also enjoyed her home based businesses (Ruth’s Treasures & Magnolia and Vine) and getting together with her fellow vendors.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Monday. The funeral service will be celebrated at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 5 at 1:30 PM. Cremation to follow with interment in Riverview Cemetery at a later date.
