$100,000 theft at Thamesville business

Police are investigating after a $100,000 theft from a Thamesville business.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say during the overnight hours of Saturday August 20, unknown suspects entered on Industrial Road in Thamesville.

Once inside the suspect removed numerous construction tools including three chains saws, two quick cut saws, assorted power tools, an air compressor, a welder and a set of tires from a vehicle.

The suspects left the scene in two stolen pickup trucks, along with a dump trailer and a red Honda four wheeler. Total value of the theft is approximately $100,000.
