In what has become an annual global phenomenon, Apple is holding a event today where it is rumoured they will unveil the new iPhone 7.
There has been plenty of buzz surrounding the release, as there is each time Apple holds a product launch like this.

Personally, I am anxiously awaiting the release of the new iPhone, and not so I can rush to the store and purchase one.
With my two-year contract up with my current iPhone 5c, I’m curious what the new release will do to the prices of the older models, specifically the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
I’m hoping with the release of the brand new iPhone 7, prices will be slashed for these older models.
Maybe it’s wishful thinking, but I figured I’d put the possibility out into the universe anyway.
