Matthew Sterling of Pain Court was presented the award for first place in Class 7-Group 1B in the Junior Plowing Competition on September 24 at the 2016 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo held in Minto, Ontario.
Sterling was also awarded second place overall among the 33 contestants in the Junior Competition.
The newly crowned 2016-2017 Ontario Queen of the Furrow, Anita Rastapkevicius of Elgin County (left), and the 2015-2016 Ontario Queen, Kathryn Chant of Grenville County, presented the awards.
