A frost advisory is in effect across Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada officials say temperatures continue to drop off in the overnight hours under generally clear skies and light winds.
Temperature readings are currently near or just below the freezing mark in many localities.
They may fall another degree or so before morning.
Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.
