Pearl Christina Tarr, a resident of Wallaceburg, died peacefully at the Chatham hospital on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the age of 84.
Pearl is the daughter of the late Thomas Jesse & Grace Candelish (Taylor) Martin. Beloved wife of Ken. Loving mother of Keith Tarr (Ronnie Lee) of Chatham, Alan Tarr of Wallaceburg and Carol Miller (Brian) of Brights Grove. Dear grandmother of Krista Lee Martens (Greg), Kerri Christina Tarr (Adam Stowe), Kendall Wilson (Brittany Badder), Craig Tarr, Ashley Tarr, Jessika Lynn Miller (Derek Heard), Ryan Daniel Miller and Abby Christina Miller and great grandmother of Jaclyn, Leah and Kameron. Sister of Emily Benedict and the late Eileen Henry and Tom Martin. Sister-in-law of Harry & Esther Tarr, Bill & the late Lynn Tarr and the late Ruth Campbell.
Pearl was a switchboard operator for Bell Canada and had worked at Wallaceburg Brass and Cozy Corners. She was also a member of the Knox Women’s Auxiliary.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Sunday. The funeral will be celebrated at the funeral home on Monday, November 21 at 1:30 PM. Interment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
