Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith picked up an assist in his second straight game on Friday night, as the Florida Panthers topped the Colorado Avalanche 3-1.
Griffith’s helper came at the 16:10 mark of the second period, when Jason Demers scored on a feed from Griffith to tie the game at 1-1.

Griffith has now recorded a point in two straight games for the Panthers, as he continues to skate on their top line with Aleksander Barkov and Jaromir Jagr.
The 23-year-old winger had the 1 assist, had a +1 +/-, picked up a two minute penalty for tripping, and had one hit and one blocked shot in 14:47 minutes of ice time.
In 16 games this year, he now has 4 assists and no goals.
Griffith and the Panthers are off until Tuesday, when they host the Buffalo Sabres.
