Bernice Fournier of Wallaceburg

1889622_profile_picMrs. Bernice Elaine Fournier, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 67.

Bernice was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Almas) Huber.

Beloved wife of John Fournier.

Loving mother of Mary (Marcel) Laliberte and Michelle (Derek) McNeil.

Sadly missed by her granddaughters Jon-An McNeil, Hope McNeil and the late Frankie-Leigh Thompson (2003).

Kind sister of Marylin (the late George) Sterling, Geneva Huber, Sharon (the late Don) Lalonde, Amy (Francis) Wolfe, Dave Huber, Tim (the late Connie) Huber, Karen Huber, Leslie (Val) Huber, Fran Huber, the late Chuck Huber and Carl Huber.

Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 16, 2016 from Holy Family Church, Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Chris Gillespie, Celebrant.

Interment to follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association may be left at the funeral home.

As a living memorial, a tree will be planted in Nicholls Memorial Forest in Memory of Bernice Elaine Fournier.
