Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been placed on injured reserve by the Florida Panthers.
Griffith was injured on Wednesday after being hit by Jets forward Nik Ehlers.
Reports say Griffith will be out for at least one week and could be eligible to return to the lineup on January 13 at home against the New York Islanders.
The timetable for the 24-year-old forwards return has not been confirmed by the Panthers.
