Pataki sent down to Jr. ‘B’

Wallaceburg’s Brady Pataki has been sent from the London Knights of the OHL to the St. Thomas Stars of the Greater Ontario Junior ‘B’ Hockey League.

The 18-year-old forward was acquired by London back in October in a trade with the Sudbury Wolves.

He has 1 goal and 3 assists in 29 games this season with the Knights and Wolves.

This will be Pataki’s first stint at the Jr. ‘B’ level, and the Stars are thrilled to have picked up the Wallaceburg product.

Pataki has 12 goals and 13 assists in 151 career OHL games.

Lakers make roster moves

The Wallaceburg Lakers made some roster moves this week, before the trade deadline in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Forwards Ryan MacAlpine and Drew Fisher were acquired from the Petrolia Flyers.

Wallaceburg also released Alec Segers.

Coming off of two straght wins, the Lakers will hope to make it three in a row tonight when they host the Blenheim Blades.

Puck drops at 7:30 p.m. in Wallaceburg.
